I was wondering if anyone here has used the Don Best premium service. It is around $500 a month. I know all my sharp local books use it for lines and to make money on their own plays.
For those that don't know how it works, You get up to the second lines at all (or most) of the books in Vegas. The real key is that if you play slow offshore books (best example is SI) you get maybe 1-2 minutes to play lines that the sharps (syndicate plays) are on at the better number. You can program the service to alert you when all or just certain games are changing lines so you can get your play in on time.
It also alerts you to any injuries in a game that may cause a line to change. I used it last year for most of college basketball season to varying success. Did real well early and then hit road block in Late January, early February (this may be due to lines tightening up). I also don't play big enough to justify the cost per month.
Looking for opinions anyone may have as to whether or not any have used it and whether you feel it can be worth the $500 a month. the bigger players I know all swear by it. I kind of feel that the offshore books have greatly increased their speed in adjusting lines.
